Gouache Painting with Myong Stebbins on Friday mornings starts April 3.
Discover the secrets and ease of this brilliant water-based medium.
Drawing into Painting with Kristin Lerner on Tuesday nights starts March 31.
Explore the relationship of how these two components work together in art.
Recycled Jewelry with Shabnam Bahmanian meets Wednesday mornings, starting April 1. Transform unique one of a kind pieces from found objects and old jewelry.

Youth classes begin May 31.
Start off this session with a special workshop. Children will draw and collage colorful elaborate hat paintings that celebrate spring in Lisa di Prima-s -Ladies and Gentlemen: Hats off to Spring- coming up on Sunday, April 5 from 2 – 5 pm.

Teens can check out our new Acrylic Painting for Teens with Kristin Lerner.
Learn the basics including color mixing, paint handling, composition and differently material use. Students looking to expand their portfolios to get into college welcome.

It-s time to start thinking about summer time activities. Secure your spot of summertime fun and register in the Richmond Art Center-s summer camp program today. Four-week sessions begin June 16. Children ages 6 – 13 enjoy drawing, painting, clay, sculpture, printmaking, access to RAC-s exhibitions and more for 3 hours a day, four days a week. Choose from either morning or afternoon sessions. Enroll by May 9 and receive a 5% discount. Receive another 5% discount on each additional sibling.

Faculty news
Richard Leaf, is on sabbatical for the spring session. We welcome Anastasia Azure who will teach Beginning Jewelry on Tuesday mornings starting March 24. Works shown are exclusively drawn from the RAC-s Artist Members.
The special Members Only exhibition displays the talents of people who support and give life to our programs.
The Members- Showcase includes works from the winners of the previous Members Only; artists Tom Heid, Susie Hodges, Anna Simson, Ted Somogyi, and John Steinberg.
These annual shows are longtime favorites at the Richmond Art Center.
